How to install corrugated polyethylene pipe?

The following is the standard installation method for corrugated polyethylene pipes
1.Pipe inspection
Check the appearance of each pipe (no pits, cracks), dimensional tolerance and sealing ring integrity. Unqualified products are prohibited.
2.Trench excavation and foundation treatment
Excavate according to the designed route. The trench width must be 20-30cm larger than the pipe diameter; the bottom of the trench must be flat and free of stones, and a 15cm sand cushion layer must be laid and compacted.
3.Pipeline laying and connection
Use alcohol or water to remove the sand and oil stains on the inner wall of the socket and ensure dryness. The rubber sealing ring is placed in the groove between the second and third wave peaks of the socket. The number of installations is based on design requirements
4.Electric hot melt connection
Remove impurities from the heating wire area, fix the socket with a steel belt, set the temperature according to the equipment parameters, and cool naturally for ≥15 minutes.
5.Pipeline cutting and repair
When adjusting the length, vertical sawing and grinding of the section are required. Local damage can be repaired with a hot air gun and welding rods.
6.Backfill and acceptance
The first layer is covered with fine sand or soft soil ≥30cm from the top of the pipe, and compacted manually; the thickness of each subsequent layer is ≤20cm, and the mechanical compaction distance is >50cm from the top of the pipe. Sealing test: inject water into the closed pipe section and check if there is any leakage at the interface
